My name is Kristin Reed, as a candidate for District #8 At-Large Board of Education Member, I am honored to stand before you as a dedicated advocate for traditional values, academic excellence, and community engagement. With a diverse background spanning education, community service, and military family life, I bring a unique perspective and unwavering commitment to the betterment of our schools and community.

As the Executive Director of Piedmont Soccer Academy, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of sports in shaping the character and resilience of our youth. Through fostering teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills, I have strived to instill values that go beyond the field and contribute to the holistic development of our young learners.

My tenure as President of Bethlehem Elementary PTO for two years has been marked by a relentless pursuit of educational excellence and parental involvement. I have worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between families, educators, and administrators, advocating for policies and programs that prioritize the needs of our students and uphold traditional educational values.

In addition to my roles in education and youth development, I am a dedicated Local Realtor, helping families find their dream homes and contributing to the vibrancy of our community. My experience in real estate has deepened my understanding of the importance of stable, family-oriented neighborhoods and the vital role that strong schools play in driving property values and community cohesion.

As a military spouse of a retired Soldier of the Georgia Army National Guard unit based in Winder, GA, I have a profound appreciation for the sacrifices made by our servicemembers and their families. This experience has strengthened my resolve to ensure that our schools provide the support and resources necessary to meet the unique needs of military-connected students and families.

Beyond my professional and personal endeavors, I am deeply rooted in the Barrow County Community, where I am actively involved in various civic and charitable organizations. Whether volunteering at local shelters, supporting small businesses, or advocating for conservative values, I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of my fellow residents.
